Man vs. Bathroom

Hi Everyone. I'm officially back at it again. The summer of no work was sort of true. I ended up getting realy busy with my real job and have had no time to do anything with the house anyway.

This next project is the second floor bathroom. Basically my bathroom. I have decided to hire someone to do the job. Its just a small bathroom. How hard could it be? It would take me two months or have someone do it in two to three weeks. Here are a few before (sort of before) shots before I get into all the drama.

The goal was to be completed by the first week of November before it got too cold. During construction I have to go downstairs to use the bathroom. There is no radiator in the back room (I will explain later) and its cold early in the morning. Unfortunately the first contractor had zero concept of time. Didn't know what showing up on time was... basically clueless (sorry Erica). He was fired before he started. Finding a new contractor set me back two weeks. Here I am in the first week of November and just two days into demolition.

I am yet again in the middle of something bigger than expected, at the point of no return... wondering "What did I get myslef into again?????"
