The summer of no work?

I reached "substantial completion" at the end of May. I'm happy to report I have done little to no work since then. My goal for the summer is to NOT WORK ON MY HOUSE... Of course a number of things have come up in other parts of the house and I still have to finish painting trim and staining the stairs in the basement. 

Last weekend I just about finished painting the trim. Here is a shot... exciting I know.

Tonight after work I went and picked up the stain for the floor. Last week I had done a couple of test pieces and decided on a natural oak finish. The darker stains were not going well with the tile.  I may put one more coat on there. If not I will have to do the sealer / hardener. I'm trying to get this all done before Saturday when my roomate gets how.
